The course is aimed at team or service managers in public care agencies, in both operational and performance or policy roles, and is designed to teach effective performance management skills. The framwork used will be that developed by the Institute, which sees integrated performance management in terms of clarify of organisational purpose, specific and agreed objectives, clear performance measures, appropriate support to deliver services and effective use of monitoring to assess and evaluate progress.
