The module content draws on national guidance and best practice in relation to housing with care; as well as providing focused teaching and directed support on how to successfully manage and deliver housing with care, whilst maximising the outcomes for its tenants. It provides an opportunity for students to share their achievements with colleagues and consider current practice within schemes, against best practice models. The module adopts an inclusive approach to teaching and as such the content and assessment acknowledges varied learning styles, requirements and perspectives. This approach is supported by a mix of visual and oral presentations; including relevant media clips, and opportunities for small group working.
