Research at advanced level (CEFR Level B2, IELTS 6.0) aims to provide a general introduction to a number of approaches to doing research, and to some of the key practices and procedures. Students will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with various research tools and approaches and to consider the underlying assumptions of these approaches. Attention will also be given to ethical issues. The module will involves frequent use of practical activities and workshops on data analysis and research methods.
