Academic Writing at upper intermediate level (CEFR Level B2, IELTS 5.5) is designed for non-native speakers of English. The module is designed to enable students to write compare and contrast essays, argument essays, and reports using researched information from multiple sources (including primary research), and covers the micro-skills necessary for these: pre-writing, brainstorming, planning, text organisation, editing, and rewriting.
