Academic Reading at intermediate level (CEFR Level B1, IELTS 5.0) is designed for non-native speakers of English. The module contains extensive reading at an appropriate level and analysis of a variety of text genres. It covers the micro-skills of note-taking, summarising, anticipating main ideas from headings, skimming for the main idea, scanning for specific information, and reading for detail.
