Grammar and Vocabulary Skills at pre-intermediate level (CEFR Level B1, IELTS 4.5) focuses on grammar and vocabulary at both sentence level and in longer texts. At the beginning of the module, a detailed need analysis will be done to decide the particular areas to be covered in class. A specific twelve-week programme will work with the Academic Writing and Academic Reading modules to develop a wider vocabulary range while helping students to process important grammatical structures in context. Error analysis and recycling will also form part of the module. In addition, the module will focus on pronunciation and intonation areas.
