The module will facilitate students in the development of their knowledge and skills in the prevention and control of infection related to practice and address issues in both the hospital and community settings. Teaching will be evidence-based. It will enable the practitioner to contribute to the creation of a safe environment that will promote sound infection control practice for the patient/client, relatives and health care workers.
