The aim of this module is to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the area of exercise and training in special populations including rehabilitation settings and applying evidence based interventions. It aims to broadly align to recognised awarding bodies in GP exercise referral scheme and level 4 specialist courses to allow students to be well prepared to achieve accreditation after successfully completing this module.
