Browse Hierarchy PTE5008: Inclusive Pedagogy
This module will explore inclusive pedagogy which considers and encompasses the learning of all children. This will be investigated through four themes incorporating the ‘pillars of inclusion’ to enable you to provide a rich learning opportunity, so that all learners are able to participate in classroom life. This will include learners with a wide range of special educational needs, English as an additional language and other barriers to learning. The development of a positive classroom ethos through appropriate behaviour management and motivation strategies will also be considered. The theory throughout this module will be linked to practice and exemplified across a range of non-core subject areas such as Physical Education.
