The module aims to develop trainees understanding of the range of pedagogical approaches used in primary classrooms. It introduces trainees to the importance of social constructivist theories to learning and how communication is used to learn. Central to the module is the understanding that learning is enquiry led and that pedagogical approaches provide an inclusive model to learning.
