Browse Hierarchy ODP4001: Professional Practice - An Introduction

A practice-based compulsory module which introduces students to concepts and theories relevant to professional practice and will give the opportunity to develop both generic and profession-specific skills and knowledge within a multiprofessional context. Students will have the opportunity to gain experience of practice within the broad context of health care. This will facilitate the students' recognition and understanding of the role of the perioperative practitioner and provide an opportunity to observe, develop and practice fundamental clinical skills as well as understanding the context of sociology and psychology in perioperative practice.
