Browse Hierarchy MWIF7002: Complexities in Midwifery Practice

This is a 20 credit practice module that provides students with the opportunity to experience variations in the childbearing spectrum. Midwifery skills that are required to plan, provide and evaluate care for women who have pre-existing or pregnancy induced medical or pathological conditions will begin to be developed. Evidence and theory that underpin the care of those with pre-existing or pregnancy induced disorders is explored.
