Browse Hierarchy MWIF6001: Global Perspectives in Midwifery

A practice related module that builds upon previous midwifery modules, in which definitions of `normality' and `risk' will be analysed and related to maternity care. Students will explore global perspectives on maternity care provision, and participate in a one day conference on maternal health during pregnancy, including strategies to optimise adopting a healthy lifestyle.
