An analysis and the study of the law relating to the way companies are set up and directed. The module will start from the registration of companies in accordance with the Companies Acts, underlining the social and economic context in which companies operate and, to some extent, the international controls to which Parliament is subject. Particular emphasis is given to the issue of incorporation, limited liability, directors' duties, the rights of shareholders and insolvency.
