This is a module for international students studying science and technology related subjects. It aims to develop English language and skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing for use in the study of science and technology. The language development work covers academic and subject-specific grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The skills development includes listening to lectures, speaking in seminars, groups and giving presentations, reading technical texts and the writing of reports, essays and projects.
