Browse Hierarchy INSE4005: Intercultural Communication in Context

This module is primarily an intercultural development module for students whose first language is not English, but is also relevant for students taking English Language and Linguistics and any student who has been educated abroad or spent longer periods overseas. This module will enable you to critically reflect upon and develop your understanding of way to interact with individuals and groups from different cultures. It will consider theoretical models used to describe and understand cultural diversity, meaning in context and intercultural communication. In this module, you will increase your awareness and understanding of your own and other cultures, including the values that underpin them.
