A module that explores frameworks for learning and enables students to deepen their understanding of the nature of professional education, curriculum theory and the national and local drivers which impact on programme design, implementation, assessment of academic achievement and competence and evaluation at a macro and micro level. Students are encouraged to explore the different roles they, and others, have in the creation of flexible and effective learning opportunities, whether this is in formal, classroom settings or in non-formal practice settings.
