This module involves up to 48 weeks of supervised work experience which is part of the two-year sandwich mode for international students, who joined their MSc programme in September. The module offers MSc students paid supervised work experience in one of a range of hotel and tourism organisations in the UK. Students utilise their learning from the taught element of their MSc Programme to analyse how strategic decisions are implemented at unit level within Hotel and Tourism organisations, whilst extending their work experience within the industry. The work experience is normally carried out in an international hotel and tourism organisation for up to 48 weeks.
