The independent study of an appropriate business subject presents students with the opportunity to link theory with practice and to build on the knowledge, understanding, skills and competencies acquired during the course, to develop those skills to a higher level and acquire others. The student is wholly responsible for identifying a topic that meets the aims of the MSc and ensuring that the proposed study is of an appropriate standard.
