This module explores and critically analyses theories and models of tourist behaviour drawn from a range of social science disciplines - anthropology, sociology, psychology, geography and politics. Students are encouraged to relate theory to practice through the use of video and written scenarios and through experiential reflection. They also assess the relevance of social science theories to applied tourism management.
