Revenue management is an essential holistic operations management approach that encompasses the management of distribution, customer relationships, inventory and price control to ultimately enhance a firm's long term profit. The science of pricing will be explored defining linkages to effective revenue management. At the end of the module students will be able to appreciate the impact of customer's sensitivity to price, customer centric revenue management approaches and how online channels can be managed to optimise profit opportunity.
