This module is designed to give students the practical skills with which to approach their dissertations. It will prepare undergraduate students for advanced study in History, both in terms of the acquisition of key research skills, and in the development of a critical, reflective engagement with questions of method and interpretation. It will cover the structure and development of an argument, supporting use of primary sources and debating an historical question.
