This module continues and complements the study of the principles of story design within the 'Introduction to Screenwriting' module. A detailed exploration of the anatomy of storytelling techniques for feature films and shorter formats is complemented by close analyses of screenplays and their realisation on screen. Particular emphasis will be placed on contemporary popular cinema and on genres. A professional scriptwriter will contribute to the module.
