This module deals with advanced racing engine design subjects. Students will be given a thorough understanding of the relevant theoretical and practical considerations associated with the design and functioning of a racing engine. Students will learn to perform advanced design analyses in areas such as the entire block, valve-train, cylinder head design and thermal management. Practical analyses will be carried out using advanced analysis tools such as GT-Power, ANSYS, and ADAMsEngine.
