Browse Hierarchy EDUC7045: Writing for Academic Practice (Part Two)

This module and it's second part aims to support the writing process throughout the stages of EdD study, and to scaffold student development from novice to publishable research writer. It will identify discourses for different text types such as research paper, dissertation, report, and exploring the role of audience in writing. The student will be involved in the analysis and evaluation of research articles, peer reviewing, editing, drafting and reformulation of written work, and will be given a principled and theorised basis with which to do so.
