This compulsory module develops your understanding of how reflection can enhance practice. It provides theorised and principled opportunities for you to evolve as a reflective practitioner engaged in a process of continuous self-development and in critical debate within your professional community. The module offers a stepping stone into the formulation of professional questions and research enquiry. It also explores and develops the skills and competences of the practitioner: researcher, such as criticality and engagement with research literature, understanding writing styles and conventions, and synthesising personal standpoint with the voice of others.
