This module explores the practical, historical and comparative dimensions of policy and practice, acknowledging the differences between the four countries of the UK. It examines and evaluates the impact which comparative international evidence has had on the development of services in the four UK countries. It involves students in a study of some key issues in comparative education and childcare, and the development of national systems in a comparative and international context.
