Browse Hierarchy ECS5009: Preparing for the Dissertation

The aim of this module is to prepare students for the dissertation. Students will cover a range of topics that will prepare them for all stages of their dissertation, from planning to analysis and write-up. It will extend their knowledge of the processes involved and develop critical awareness of themselves as researchers. A particular emphasis will be given to the ethical procedures that are necessary before conducting fieldwork. There will be opportunities to review the submissions of previous students.
