Browse Hierarchy DRAM6001: People, Plays and Places

This module will focus on Early Modern dramatic texts and give students the opportunity to carry out detailed critical and performative research in relation to the general themes of bodies, places and play texts, building on issues of space, performance and historical context encountered on previous modules. It will focus on the historical specificity of Early Modern English drama and will interrogate the theatrical and aesthetic challenges this poses to scholars and theatre practitioners working in the period.
