An introduction to the law particularly relevant to the building contracts, including standard forms of building contract. The module is based on 'problem based learning' in which students are presented with a structured series of problems, and are assisted in exploring and applying relevant law and contractual terms in relation to these problems. This approach is to develop intellectual skills rather than focus overly on knowledge of a body of law which is constantly changing.
