This module develops knowledge and skills in construction communication through the practice of manual and computer-aided drawing, and the study of existing and emerging information technology. The study of construction plans and manual/CAD drawing exercises provide the opportunity to gain skills in the interpretation of 3D construction from 2D information. The study of communication and information technologies (CIT) provides an understanding of the use of CIT, such as database management systems, in the production, coordination, sharing, communication and management of project information.
