Browse Hierarchy BIOL5015: Genetics

This module focuses on patterns of genetic inheritance at different scales from individuals to populations to evolutionary lineages. Students will acquire an understanding of Mendelian/ transmission, quantitative, population, ecological and evolutionary genetics and an ability to analyse and interpret genetic data, which will enhance general numeracy and research competence. Emphasis is on developing quantitative skills introduced in U14009 and required for higher level modules and by graduate employers.
