Browse Hierarchy ARCH7005: Representation
The ability to present work both visually and verbally is of paramount importance to the architect. Fluency in both forms of communication require speculation of method and testing of technique. The theory that underpins communication and representation has expanded arguably as significantly as information technology in the last three decades. The ability to utilise both to maximum effect, in balance with the pressures of professionalism, is an intriguing mix. The aim of this module is to explore the methods that can be adopted to maintain originality and creativity whilst delivering on time, clearly expressed and tantalising verbal and visual presentations. Just how do you maintain distinctiveness in the corporate world? The aim of this module is to develop a critical viewpoint with which to expand and refine the techniques of representation used both academically and commercially in practice.
