A module comprising a series of studio design assignments. These range from observation, analysis and investigation of architectural, cultural, contextual issues through to design proposals that build on these investigations. There is an emphasis on exploration and hypothesis through project work in architectural design. The module is made up of a series of design units, each unit offering a different set of projects, however these projects have common goals. You will spend a year in a design unit, and develop projects set by the tutors which allow you to explore the stated unit agenda. There are a variety of design units, each one defining it's own programme and specific focus, as outlined in the unit summaries.
