Browse Hierarchy ARCH5006: Issues in Architectural History and Theory

This module builds upon the knowledge gained in the first year module and both widens and deepens the students? knowledge and understanding of the history and theory of architecture and its relationship to the arts. The module presents ideas that either inform architectural production or help us to understand architecture in relation to its physical, social, cultural and political context. The module aims to introduce students to areas of investigation that might be developed or utilised in their third year dissertations.
