Browse Hierarchy ANTH6017: Anthropology Independent Study
This module offers students a flexible opportunity to explore an anthropological topic in depth. The focus, methods and outputs have to be agreed (using form M88) with a number of the Anthropology staff who will act as supervisor. The proposed study also has to be agreed by the Anthropology Departmental Committee and the external examiner. Outputs can vary considerably and could for example include one or more of: essays, annotated bibliography, ethnographic fieldwork journal, video/film, longer reports, etc. Students will normally only be allowed to take an Independent Study option in the third year.
