The module provides an understanding of financial accounting techniques. The competence and understanding of these techniques are developed and deepened further in the area of internatiuonal financial reporting. Blending a critical understanding of academic concepts and technical approaches and using the IASB Conceptual framework as the starting point, students will be challenged to prepare and interpret financial statements and debate current issues in international financial accounting.
